One Wallet, Any Chain: How EIL and 7702 upgrade Ethereum UX The biggest UX problem in the on-chain experience pops up in two ways. First, every action still feels tied to a specific chain. You think about which L2 you are on, where you have gas, which bridge is safe, and how

The biggest concerns with implementing EIP-7702 at the wallet level fall into four buckets: 1. Phishing and wallet drains Most โ7702 drainโ fears are actually about something older and simpler: private key compromise. If an attacker already has the EOAโs key, they can sign any

Pectra enabled 7702, but wallets have to implement it on their side. Approvals wonโt disappear until they route EOAs through 7702 smart-account logic. The EIP-7702 infrastructure from @ethereumfndn, powered by Etherspot, is live and free.
Ayo frens What happened to EIP-7702? How come I still need to do token approvals, I thought we fixed this in pectra. Werenโt the wallets supposed to support this by now?

Great to see teams building with the freely accessible, censorship-resistant EIP-7702 infrastructure from @ethereumfndn, powered by Etherspot.
Weโre proud to share that Rewardy presented at the Account Abstraction Community Hub at @EFDevconnect - a space dedicated to the future of how people interact with Ethereum. Huge thanks to the Ethereum Foundation team, especially Tom @tomteman, Marisa @ThewizardofPOS, and Yoav

EIL changes the stakes. Account Abstraction is no longer a nice upgrade for teams, it is becoming the baseline for how users will interact.

Ethereumโs next hard fork, Fusaka, is set for early November 2025. It lands just before Devconnect (Nov 17โ22 in Buenos Aires) and continues Ethereumโs twice-a-year cadence for network upgrades. But what is it really about? ๐

EOAs were never built for the kind of UX people expect today. 4337 and 7702 just make it practical at scale.
Smart Wallets Are the Way Forward Externally Owned Accounts were a simple starting point for Ethereum. One key, one address, one way to approve a transaction. That model worked when the only people using Ethereum were early adopters who were comfortable managing their own keys
