Theme 6:.Bring Your Favorite Crypto Text led by @0xalevator (Yale). This session steps outside the technical to ask what other disciplines can teach us. Participants bring non-technical texts — from anthro to political theory — and discussion culture, power, and perspective.

Theme 5:.Programmable Incentives led by @Tim_Roughgarden (Columbia). We look at how incentive design continues to shape decentralized coordination, and and why this remains a critical area to support. Topics include economics of concurrent proposers, slashing, and DePin.

Theme 4:.Moonshots and Blue Skies Research for the Future led by @tzhen (Flashbots). Visionary ideas often start without a clear use case. This section focuses on research that can potentially push boundaries and reimagine the future of Ethereum.

Theme 3:.Academia’s Greatest Hits led by @AriJuels (Cornell Tech & IC3). We revisit ideas that began in universities and implemented in Ethereum’s infrastructure, celebrating the impact of academic thinking including PoS consensus mechanisms, rollups, and restaking.

Theme 2:.Latest Innovations in DeFi Research led by @cryptoeconprof (UF & Columbia). DeFi has grown into a complex, high-stakes ecosystem. We feature cutting-edge research in OAFs, AMMs vs CLOBs, and threats of centralization in block building.

Theme 1:.Ethereum for Financial Institutions led by @dannyryan (@Etherealize_io). Explore how research on Ethereum’s core features like privacy, compliance, and scalability makes Ethereum ready for institutional adoption.
