@pre_rad taught me the most impactful lessons re compassionate care for people with metastatic cancers. It’s simultaneously cruel and fitting that I am learning to navigate the experience of personal loss from her as well. Her legacy lives on through her unequalled mentorship

I enjoyed sharing my experience working with @pre_rad in the development/evaluation of a dedicated inpatient radiation oncology service at @UNCRadOnc. It was great to hear other institutions’ experiences caring for symptomatic patients with metastatic cancers #ACRO24.
