I see some consulting beckons…
Hearing a lot of poor news reading atm… which drives me mad! .. reading the news is a real skill .. you need to convey the sense of a story with inflection & intonation so it’s easily understood … don’t read ‘flat’ in the same tone… 🤦🏼♀️

Regional anything is profoundly depressing when it comes to BBC LR . Most probably why the audience has disappeared.
Regional breakfast shows on Christmas Day make me profoundly depressed. They save a relatively small amount of money & Christmas morning is a time to have someone on the radio who feels like a mate up the road. Older people are isolated enough these days & this cannot help.

What's happening to bbc local radio ? There don't need cuts, there just want to work and make there listening Happy. I used to listen to 2 dj's on 2 different bbc stations. I don't know what @RodLucas and @essextimbo (the 2 djs that i used to listen too( think of bbc lr now
