We had a great time in Cherokee last night playing the blues as part of the Kee Live Music Festival. It’s a great event and the community showed up. After leading the jam in the afternoon, we took The Brightside Lounge on a blues journey.

On location last week at Piece & Freedom Bakery in Downtown Ames. If you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend it. The cheese boats are next level, but honestly, everything is. A recent Ames Regional Economic Alliance award winner, with a Traction story out in March.

Confession: we’d never been to Reiman Gardens’ Winter Wonderland light show; until last night. We were missing out. Truly magical and an incredible regional amenity. This is why we Live Work Play in Ames.

In honor of National Twin Day, here is a shout out to these two amazing people! Learning we were having twins was the shock and best thing of our life, and we would have it no other way.

It’s always fun to get out the cameras, mics, and lights for a project that is just getting off the ground. On location in Boone today.

We’re a few days removed from a great weekend in Las Vegas. Thanks to Tom Buckmiller, Justin Burtz, and David Burton for the time together, stories that ensued, and the memories that will inevitably resurface when we do it again.
