For women who can’t become pregnant with their own eggs, egg donation can be an option. The chances of having a baby after egg donation depend on the age of the egg donor. We have produced an information leaflet about egg donation. Download it here:

‼️Egg freezing does not guarantee a baby. The chances of success depend on the woman’s age & the total number of eggs frozen. A woman who froze her eggs at 30 will increase her chances of pregnancy at 40 from ~7% to ~30%. Best advice: freeze eggs as early as possible

🔬ICSI involves injecting a single sperm directly into an egg. After ~24 hours an embryologist checks for fertilization. The resulting embryo is then monitored & typically one embryo is transferred back to the woman’s womb. Any suitable extra embryos may be frozen. #whatisICSI

🔬ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is a fertility treatment for male infertility, where a sperm is directly injected into an egg. It shouldn’t be used when male factors aren’t present. Consult your doctor about treatment options & funding. #fertilitytreatment #icsi
