On occasion of the first anniversary of #create4 we pinned kurak,a national patchwork symbolizing joint efforts to enhance diverse but unified creative #Kyrgyzstan. @MonicaRijal has buttoned our kurak with #undp logo.

We are also proud to host delegations from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. #create4 is a naturally evolving platform uniting people, cities and even countries through #creativity and #innovation.

@MonicaRijal has emphasized in her speech that the #create4 festival has grown into the regional one with the engagement of more than 100 organizations. “We started in Bishkek. And now Create4 is spreading to the regions. A few weeks ago we launched forum in Osh,” she said.

Chair of @OkmotKG Akylbek Japarov has confirmed the government’s commitment to green sustainable development, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, improving #EnergyEfficiency, and promoting #renewable energy sources. He called for cooperation to improve air quality.

@MonicaRijal stressed an importance of investing in the expert competence of operators so that they provide qualified, gender-responsive advice and also behaviors that place the needs and rights of their clients at the center of their work, guaranteeing professional services.

Today we have brought together our stakeholders to address #EnergyVulnerability in the upcoming National #HumanDevelopmentReport. The report will recognize #Kyrgyzstan’s energy performance parameters over the last decade, study the nature and the extent of energy vulnerabilities.

Louise @ChamberlainSDGs in her opening speech emphasized that the importance of a fair and just energy transition will be one of the key themes of the Report. “We want to focus on people’s ability to make choices around energy that affect multiple aspects of their wellbeing.”
