Absolutely gutted to hear of the passing of Mani. His bass playing provided the smooth pulse behind the Stone Roses’ best songs. So glad I was finally able to catch them live at MSG in 2016. Just going to spin their brilliant music all day in his honor. Rest in peace, Mani.🌹🍋🖤

Toasting to the 25th anniversary of the release of one of the best albums of my lifetime. This record is a masterpiece, and won @PJHarveyUK the first of her two Mercury Music Prize awards. Seeing Polly on this tour at @FineLineMPLS remains one of my favorite shows of all-time.

Watching ‘Eddie and the Cruisers’ for the first time in over a decade. This was one of my favorite movies as a teenager. One of the sure signs I’d grow up to be a music obsessive was I remember being truly angry that I couldn’t hear their unreleased album, ‘A Season In Hell.’

A few months ago, my mom asked me if there was one album I really wanted that I’ve never been able to get. I answered @Beck’s ‘Midnite Vultures.’ My dad told me that earlier today she stopped into a used record store in Waukesha to see if they had it—My heart is going to burst.❤️

This was such a memorable show. Supergrass opened & the crowd sang along to all of PJ’s songs in an attempt to stay warm. The morning after, I shook off my hangover, drove back to Minneapolis & flew to Amsterdam that evening. It was such a whirlwind & I loved every second of it.

I’m a bachelor for a week after my wife left for a business conference this morning, and things are getting pretty wild around mine. Just poured a martini and put in a frozen pizza, and I’m about to press play on the Lilith Fair documentary. This is bliss.

Holy shit. I just discovered the “Let Down” trend on TikTok and my heart wasn’t ready. I’m thrilled that Gen Z discovered my favorite Radiohead song. The track has even cracked the Billboard Hot 100 chart (at No. 91), becoming the band’s fourth song to do so.
