So I called him up and to my surprise, I was able to get on the phone with John Goodenough. He walked me through the challenges of battery technology at the time and still to this day. It was a conversation I knew immediately that I was lucky to be having.

I had no idea I was speaking to a Nobel prize winner. To be fair, John Goodenough didn’t know it at the time either, but when I had a fleet of all electric vehicles in downtown @GoREVGo years before Uber and Lyft, I found out about a battery pioneer at the University of Texas.

1/ Spoke on @technology about my tweet on the SVB bank run! The interview focus on diverse founders is paramount as the @WSJ op-ed today stated that the SVB BoD focus on diversity might have caused the oversight. In reality, it’s the complete opposite.
