Speech therapy software (apps) is an important component of an intensive comprehensive aphasia rehab program to get enough intensity both during sessions and after. #ICAP #Aphasia #SLPApps #TreatwithTactus
@MeganTrebs @aphasiologist1 @BethGooding4 @em_rehab @SironaCIC @JeanRutter4 @clairefarring20 We (@e_poyner1 and me) had a go at a modified hospital ICAP, would be interested to know what yours entailed Megan? Ours was apps (mostly @TactusTherapy), in person therapy and better conversations training.

Honoured to have shared our experience delivering a pilot #ICAP at #RCSLTConf2023 with @LibbyAllanSLT - the volume of questions we've received demonstrates SLTs' interest to advancing #aphasia rehab. IMO A positive step forward!

In today's iCafe session we had a wonderful discussion about how songs can remind you of special memories. This infographic does a great job of explaining the positive effects of listening to music! #SLT #rehabilitation #PwA

The final ICAP day is always an exciting opportunity to discuss & reflect on meaningful gains collaboratively with clients. As well as impairment changes we have seen exciting outcomes relating to vocational goals, confidence, fatigue management and collaborative story telling
