@tudelft Language is a toolbox for our understanding and experience in the world, but nuance is needed to have more to build on. In a co-creation session with the community, an urban map was enhanced based on suggestions and their perception of value.

@tudelft Both tangible and intangible themes were explored, e.g.: differentiated engagement w/ space & time, based on our relatedness to it, multi-sensory engagement, ways of occupying space, hospitality, hierarchy, trust. What it means to be seen is another overarching theme.

@tudelft The case study was Rotterdam's Bospolder-Tussendijken borough, composed of migrants from diverse origins. Language referred to in the research framework was varied (see image). Baugh sought to explore the meaning of community, and access to & value of space.
