It's been 6 years today and No, it doesn't get easier. There's no getting over grief. It'll always live on with you but life won't pause until it stops. Only thing that has helped me is probably respecting the pain when it comes, and not try to bury or get over it. Love you to.
It took me a lot of time to come in terms with losing my father,my favourite person to death. I used to shut myself off and not try to feel anything on 29th of July,these last 4 years. Now in retrospect I realise that day changed me completely as a person. The person I was before
