You’re an expert at doing your work without AI. You’re a beginner at doing it with AI. Just like everyone else. That was my hardest realisation.

My AI-first rule: 1. Try AI first—even when I’m in a rush. 2. Only fall back if I can’t get it done in time. 3. Capture what worked so it compounds. The hard part isn’t learning tools—it’s unlearning 20 years of habits. What’s your rule?
