Tariff Ruling #SCOTUS is a positive signal for the rule of law. Judges have shown that even an US president does not operate in a legal vacuum. Legal barriers have been set, the era of unlimited, arbitrary tariffs impossible by the President might now be coming to an end (1/2)

À very constructive meeting for @EP_Trade MEPs led by Chair @berndlange with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Faustino Dy III and the Chairs of Trade and Foreign Affairs Cttees. Both EU and Philippine Parliaments support an FTA for the benefit of their people.

Concluding their visit in Manila, the @EP_Trade delegation met the Secretary of Trade and Industry Cristina Roque and her team. They agreed on the importance to continue to work hard on both sides until the finish line, which hopefully will now come soon.

Today in the #Philippines INTA members visited both chambers of representatives and the trade secretary. The chair also underlined the importance to conclude the trade agreement this year.
