First saw @bluemangroup in Vegas at the age of 13. Today, 20 years later, I saw them again at @captheatres in Edinburgh. Every bit as bizarre and funny and artistic and musical and amazing as I remembered!

With poor service like this, it's no wonder people are crying out for Uber in Aberdeen. Been here 20 mins, only 6 or 7 taxis have been, and there are still at least 30-40 people in the queue. Feels like it would be quicker walking home.

Welcome to @ABZ_Airport - queue of 40-50 people at taxi rank & no taxis. Really poor welcome to the city. Never experienced anything like it anywhere else in the world. If Aberdeen wants to take tourism seriously, this needs to be sorted out. @visitabdn @AberdeenCC

So inspired was I by @Lenniesaurus and @Shane_Strachan last night that, this morning, for the first time in over a decade, I decided not to start writing a short story but to start on a poem. Excited to see where this goes!

Absolute comedy masterclass by @MrNishKumar tonight in Aberdeen. Rarely do I shake with laughter and anger at the world at the same time, but tonight I did just that.

And now just found out this is all because they tried to deliver to the wrong address - it was my neighbour who put the missed delivery card through my door after it was wrongly delivered to her.

Appalling service from @RoyalMailHelp today. Was in all day, to then discover a note through the door saying I wasn't. 4 parcels - 3 of which had high costs for next day delivery. And of course we can't complain through the website as we are not the sender. What a joke.

Feeling inspired after a writing workshop with @rachelle_ata at the @APAWhatsOn Delve Festival. Sitting in the pub, alternating between reflecting on new ideas from the session and furiously scribbling in my new notebook. This is what Saturdays are for.

Enjoyed Bread & Breakfast at @PlayPiePint in the Lemon Tree tonight. Like if Fawlty Towers was set in Scotland... and had a much swearier script!
