This isn’t a technical or monetization problem. This is a discoverability issue. It happens to every app on the App Store. You first release your app, it gets a lot of impressions (ASO), what comes with impressions? downloads. After a couple of weeks, the app becomes a ghost
Finally, my first app died after 14 days - 247 active users - 238 new users - $0 MRR - $0 revenue So finally, I stopped focusing on this app

Results of my first two promotions on TikTok • 36K views • 326 buttons clicked • $50 spent (20 on the first and 30 on the second) • only 1 install. In summary, I don’t know if in order to get enough installs you need to spend thousands of $ on marketing, unless an

Day 2 doing meta ads for ClockInOut This is what it’s done overnight: • from 11 -> 27 clicks • 644 -> 1589 impressions • 337 -> 939 reach • $7 amount spent I’m still understanding how this can best help my app, but for less than 24 hours, numbers don’t seems so bad
Just set up Meta Ads today I’m right now in testing territory as this is my first time. • $10 daily budget • goal is to get people to visit my app website • 11 clicks so far • $3 spent Will share tomorrow how it goes. For this with experience in meta ads, how is

Maturing is understanding that a 1 star review isn’t hating on your app. In fact, these are the kind of feedback that can best improve your app 🙏🏻 All I see here is a user who is requesting a very expected functionality in an app like this. Already shipping this feature

I updated the onboarding paywall on ClockInOut. Noticed users aren’t taking advantage of the free trial, so I made it more clear for them. Implemented a dynamic paywall based on the selected plan, whereas before, I only showed the features no matter what plan was selected.

Lately I’ve been very quiet here on X, but I’m never leaving 🔥 I’ve been working on improving onboarding to increase conversion. Marketing is draining too I made the pre paywall screen much closer to what the user will get with Premium ⭐️ 💯
