Students on our Engineering and Manufacturing T-Level have won an award after building an electric go kart to race at @croftcircuit as part of a nationwide competition. The young engineers were the only ones who built their go kart from scratch.

Owen Jenkinson, 18, showed he is a great fit for a plumbing career by beating students from across the region to win an inter-college competition. Yesterday the SWDT Plumbing Level 2 student, from Darlington, picked up his award at Bede Sixth Form, Billingham. Watch his video.
