The current three-year GUSI theme is AI, and @EmoryUniversity's leadership in this space was highlighted during a reception, where speakers Lanny Liebeskind, Joe Sutherland, Ujjwal Baid and John Lysaker presented an overview of the university-wide efforts in the field.

EGE recently hosted senior leaders from the University of Bonn, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, University of St Andrews, and Waseda University were recently hosted on campus by Emory Global Engagement, for the annual Global Universities for Societal Impact (GUSI) Board Meeting.

Alongside Emory, representatives from @GeorgiaTech, @UMich, @uofnorthgeorgia, and @GeorgiaStateU participated, as well as speakers from @Hyundai , @LGUS , @atlchamber, and the Georgia Department of Economic Development

Her presentation focused on Emory’s historical and multifaceted ties in South Korea including our partnerships and Emory’s first international student. The forum focused on topic such as building a Korean Studies network in the Southeast and exploring ways to enhance cooperation

Earlier this week, our Vice Provost for Global Engagement, Jane Gatewood, presented at the Korean Studies Forum, organized by the Korean Language Program at @GeorgiaTech and @KoreaFoundation.

As Emory celebrates Commencement today, we send our warmest congratulations to this year's graduates! Last week, our International Student and Scholar Services(ISSS) team proudly hosted the International Graduation Reception- take a look at the highlights from this event!🎓🌎

During this visit, we were also able to connect with partners, such as the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, the Ministry of Education, @AshokaUniv, @ICGEB , and many others, where we discussed the impact of Emory in India.

Last month, Emory Global Engagement team members visited India, where we hosted an exciting welcome reception in New Delhi at the @iic_delhi for incoming Emory students and alumni. We are grateful to @singlan, Country Director of Emory India for joining us for this event.
