We welcomed our muroora in style 🥳 When I posted the video on TikTok (300k views!), some were confused why we pereka muroora during the day. But what is culture? A system people follow without question? We make culture, culture doesn’t make us. Here’s my beautiful makoti ❤️

When independent media thrives, democracy flourishes. Just wrapped up a two-day Southern Africa Media Summit, where we discussed press freedom, digital security, and the growing challenges of misinformation.Grateful to the FNF for over 40 years of supporting media in Zimbabwe.

I wrote this for Gender Links, showing that women’s leadership is limited not by ability but by cultural normslike in the case of Chief Silibaziso Mhlotswa. Laws alone can’t dismantle inequality; culture must evolve to reflect fairness and justice. https://t.co/bWGKQiR6q7

62% of grape survivors in Zimbabwe are children aged 11–15. Literally CHILDREN and people are out here talking about dressing. REALLY??? The issue isn’t clothing, it’s perpetrators. Most survivors are violated AT HOME dressed decently by people they trust😳😳😳.

I am seeing X claims “indecent dressing” on rape, but stats say otherwise. Most cases happen at home in Zim where people are dressed decently A 2019 study found: 27% boyfriends, 25% relatives, 19% neighbors, only 9% strangers. It’s not the clothes it’s the perpetrators.

Women’s voices matter. In Zimbabwe, many mothers still face challenges getting the care they need. Hearing their own stories shows us the real struggles of motherhood. Maternal health is a right. Full story on 710 babies delivered at home in Epworth 👇 https://t.co/THifnkNljF
