productive morning - same time next year?

there is so much beauty, innovation, and curiosity in toronto and now feels like a good time to bet on this city.

this summer, i - worked, organized hackathons, and did research - ran a 10k - visited NY and SF (waterloo rite of passage) - baked a lot and spent time with people whom i adore - read novels, textbooks, substack articles, and blogs - thought about what i want from life

and just like that, Hack404 is over - the last 36 hours have simultaneously gone by so quickly yet so slowly, and i can officially say that i have the best organizing team ever, and that i’ve created my own hackathon!

it never feels real when the little projects you dream up with your friends play out in real life. this is https://t.co/xy0L2b3eAk day 1.

cs is fun and all, but remember to read good books, to spend time with friends, to cook for your family, to have lovely conversations, and to sit in the sun. time spent intentionally is never time wasted.
