Worried about etomidate and its suppression of cortisol in the critically ill? Worry no longer (in adults, anyway). #FOAMed https://t.co/dPeNv2veUp

Rapidly titrating nitroglycerin infusions to "scary" rates is completely justified in acute onset pulmonary edema – and, good news, the half-life is so short it's easy to dial it back if you overshoot. #FOAMed https://t.co/jgKsyIFGJN

Remember vernakalant? The random little guy from a few network meta-analyses for cardioversion in AF? Well, it may be finally coming to an ED near you. #FOAMed https://t.co/iibr8n7p0v

The NOHARM project is another leaderboard focusing on the tangible clinical actions suggested (or omitted) by LLMs – and, again, physicians are regrettably pretty average. #FOAMed https://t.co/eblxh0i7n2

The age of the ambient scribe is here. How does version 1.0 stack up? Are they everything they're cracked up to be, or are there problematic icebergs nestled beneath the surface? #FOAMed https://t.co/xuXkkM0xSk

When AI scribes fail to match human scribes – is it a failure of the technology to achieve natural parity, or a failure of clinicians to adapt and grow? 🤔 #FOAMed https://t.co/6QWBi45241

In @AnnalsofEM – a study looking at the bogeyman of missed stroke in dizziness, of which an undue level of importance has been placed. Luckily, strokes are rarely missed and the resulting disability is usually low. #FOAMed https://t.co/Ae9qVFV3vJ

Luckily, very little disability results from subtle clinical presentations.

The question was posed: can ESR and CRP contribute useful diagnostic information for the evaluation of spinal epidural abscess? My take in ACEPNow! (hint: nope!) #FOAMed https://t.co/3mh4ou0MKb

I have a backlog of something like 30 articles that all deserved a post – the answer is clearly: none of them will get a post, yet, they all will. Here are the first few: #FOAMed https://t.co/VFk2KzkSMg

It's ANDROMEDA-SHOCK 2, another addition to this season's sequel list. Does the CRT assessment make it better than "usual care", or is the protocol the real star here? How can we unpack it to find out? #FOAMed https://t.co/D3ivFTc28h

ICYMI, it's ensitrelvir. Targets the same SARS-2-CoV protease as nirmatrelvir, clears viral particles the same way, and has the same (minimal) effect on symptoms. But it's another option, and that's not a bad thing. #FOAMed https://t.co/v58GoXUxDo
