Okay. Enough is enough. I’m calling out James Marriott for giving attention to certain fans and playing into the parasocial relationships. It’s not about it being unfair to other fans, it’s about the fact that he’s doing any of this at all. It’s specifically Vita and Erin.

I do not wish for James to stop interacting with fans, but if that is what must happen, then so be it. I would much rather that than James showing favoritism and people feeling out of place.

It is not the same thing. Artists having a bit in the show where a different person comes up on stage each show for a role is not the same thing as one fan going on stage.

Interacts with the most. Everyone is purposefully ignoring the entire point. Wanting to hold James accountable or criticizing him is not the same as hating him. Multiple people feel like this. I have gotten DM’s from multiple people thanking me not in long forms like this.
