The internet has been inconvenient to powerful people, so now they're taking control of it. The concept of the internet itself is what Senator Graham is reining in. And none of the legislation he's pushing for actually protects kids.
My New Year's wish is for Congress to bring social media companies to heel. We're calling on Senate leadership - Republican and Democrat alike - to allow a week in February 2026 be dedicated to advancing legislation that protects children from online threats and tackling the

fight fire with fire. Call, text and email them while they are away during the holidays! Once they come back they will need go through everything
Both parties are trying to ram through dangerous legislation during holidays that radically transforms the internet. If Section 230 is repealed, every site on the 'net becomes motivated to self-censor, because the risk of frivolous defamation lawsuits becomes real. Call them!🧵

Section 230 is what keeps the Internet free. By gutting it you force social media sites to make mechanisms to pre-screen every single post with an AI. You will kill the free and open web and allow states to start targetting sites they want removed from the Internet.
1/ Senators @LindseyGrahamSC @MarshaBlackburn @HawleyMO and @ChuckGrassley are calling Big Tech’s bluff! 🧵👇

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham pushing to have February be the month the Senate repeals Section 230. Read this letter and his reasonings. Its all fearmongering about actual problems that won't be fixed by repealing Section 230, but actually made worse.

I cant remember if I tweeted this or not but losing Section 230 is one of those things that is a turning point. It's so horrifically bad that I genuinely don't know what society will look like the day after. Its frightening but so drastic of a change it's hard to conceptualize.

It only takes only a few minutes, but it could be one of the most important things you can do to preserve online freedom of speech. Call your members of Congress and demand that they vote NO on legislation that repeals Section 230.
If you're an American, now is the time to call your representatives and senators telling them to vote NO on legislation that repeals Section 230. It is not pointless. Calling shatters the impression that we are apathetic and compliant drones who will go along with anything.

Reminding everyone for no particular reason that Section 230 is one of the last things standing between free speech online and Trump having control over everything you see and say on the internet

Children are being exploited and abused because Big Tech consistently prioritizes profits over people. Enough is enough. Time to sunset Section 230.

CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!!! SECTION 230 IS IN DANGER
On the eve of the Epstein files being released, the House and Senate introduced bills to gut Section 230, aka the bill that created the internet, to "protect kids online" from "abuse". Someone let them know that repealing Section 230 let's pedophiles walk out of jail, free.
