The next wave of telecom isn’t about maturity. It’s about mobility - of data, of power, of ownership. And guess what?. People are ready to reclaim it. Join us:

Big Wireless thinks they’re safe behind their towers of profit. So did Blockbuster. So did Yellow Cabs. So did Hilton. You know what happened next.

This is exactly why World Mobile is different:. ✅ Community-owned infrastructure (DePIN).✅ Earn as you connect.✅ Privacy & sovereignty first.✅ Build your own coverage.✅ Real economic inclusion. A network by the people, for the people.

Status quo defenders always cling to “mature market” myths. They forget people don’t want more of the same. They want better. They want power back in their hands. They want to own what they use.

Taxi companies scoffed at Uber for targeting an “established” industry. Hotels dismissed Airbnb. Both thought they were “mature.”. They were really just vulnerable.

Blockbuster thought they owned a “mature” video rental market. Netflix didn’t see maturity. they saw complacency. Now where’s Blockbuster?

The US telco market is ripe for disruption. Consumers are clearly done with the status quo:. Locked-in contracts. Hidden fees. Zero ownership. Exploited data. Same old promises, no real change. Sound familiar?

When an industry’s “maturity” just means 3 corporate giants swapping the same customers year after year… is that maturity? Or stagnation?. Look at this chart:. Big wireless post-paid additions are in decline. Consumers clearly want change.

A journalist asked me this week:. “How does @WorldMobileTeam hope to break into the mature US telco market?” 🤔. I replied:. "You see maturity, but I see complacency" 🦥. And complacent markets are ripe for disruption. ⚡️. Just ask Blockbuster, Yellow Cabs, or Hilton. 🙃. 🧵👇

So yes, the network effect still matters. But in this era, it does more than just scale value. It scales ownership. It scales freedom. It scales power redistribution. The next generation of networks is already here. And it belongs to all of us. *spot the Spark AirNode 👀 🇵🇰

World Mobile is not just benefiting from a network effect. We are redefining it. Each new connection strengthens the system. Each new participant increases resilience. Each new community adds exponential value.

Vail understood scale, but not shared ownership. He never imagined a world where the network effect would include people earning, operating and owning part of the system they connect through. But that’s exactly where we’re going.

Our growth is not just driven by users. It's driven by:. 📡 AirNode operators expanding real-world access.🌍 EarthNode operators validating and securing the network.🤝 Communities who co-own and co-build alongside us.

At World Mobile, we’ve taken that same foundational concept and rebuilt it from the ground up. This time, it’s decentralised. It’s community-owned. And it's physically powered by the people.

Theodore Vail, president of @ATT, saw that the value of a network grows exponentially as more people connect. He wasn't wrong. But his version of the network effect was built for shareholders, not communities.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how @WorldMobileTeam might be one of the most powerful modern examples of an evolution of the network effect. And there’s a beautiful irony in that the term was first coined by a titan of Big Wireless. 🧵👇
