Growing up, I rarely read about people like me or saw them on the screen. Every bi book that's been published has helped to add to representation. Growing Up Queer In Australia is a fantastic intersectional anthology of real stories. It's refreshing to see it in bookshops! (2/3)

Related (and a shameless self plug) - I have a podcast called Arcx which focuses on south Asian sci-fi, fantasy, and speculative fiction authors. We highlight a lot of under appreciated books - and these are genres that deserve more love. SA authors are doing amazing work here!
why don't indian bookstagrammers ever talk about indian and other south asian authors? they can recommend taylor jenkin reids and emily henry but not meena kandasamy, humayun ahmed, mahasweta devi, shehan karunatilaka, attia hosain, kamala das, perumal murugan and amrita pritam?
