i just realised all my ships are traumatized thinks they don't deserve to be loved and other one loves them like breathing and ends up being eachothers safe space. it's just hit every damn time

for a character who’s so ashamed/terrified of his queerness, it’s vital for lovro’s self acceptance that he knows he’s loved by ppl. ema’s kindness + her urging him to open up about his feelings for ivan is a stepping stone in him coming out, of his own volition, to jakov #sramhr

this version of skam feels so real and emotionally impactful BECAUSE of the way he cried in this scene. same with most of the other things people complain about for being “too dramatic”. it made it feel more real and hit harder. and don’t get me wrong there’s lots of writing

skam france didn’t hold back when it came to showing the serious side of mental health and that’s so important to me. and i know lucas isn’t technically diagnosed w anxiety but as someone who is and constantly struggles with it daily, he reminds me of myself SO much in many ways

don’t forget when he researched bipolar and read information about it that made him worry even more. that’s the love of his life… of course he’s going to cry and be anxious and worry about him?? he’s not a “drama queen”. this is a completely normal and realistic reaction

i hate when people say that lucas was being “dramatic” here or when they laugh at him just because he was crying bc eliott was going to visit his parents. he gets anxious, has abandonment issues + insecurities AND understandably worries about eliott’s safety especially after ep 8

i’m actually SO glad they didn’t write ema the same way some other remakes did, i think the last thing lovro needed was another person pulling away… this is exactlythe support he needed & i’m glad he’s surrounded by supportive people :(( #sramhr
