Professor Abinya is a distinguished Kenyan Consultant Medical Oncologist and Hematologist, often recognized as the "father of oncology in Kenya." He is a former Professor of Medicine at the University of Nairobi and currently practices at the Nairobi Hospital Cancer Centre.
