Blaine Crim has been claimed by the Rockies and optioned to AAA after being DFA'd by the Rangers last week.
#Rockies have claimed 1B Blaine Crim off waivers from the Texas Rangers and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque. A 19th Rd pick in 2019, the 28-year-old batted .284 (.888 OPS) with 18 home runs and 71 RBI in the PCL this season.

Atlanta United makes the acquisition of Steven Alzate from Hull City official. The 26-year old midfielder most recently played for Hull City in the English Championship. Has also played for Brighton, Standard Liege, Swindon Town, and Leyton Orient. Contract is through 2030.

Blaine Crim has been DFA'd by the Rangers to make room on their 40-man roster following the trade deadline. Crim is hitting .284 with 18 HR, 20 doubles, 71 RBI, and an .888 OPS this season in AAA. He could land back with the Rangers (just not on the 40-man) or somewhere else.
The Rangers today announced that the club has acquired RHP Merrill Kelly from Arizona in exchange for minor league LHP Mitch Bratt, LHP Kohl Drake, and RHP David Hagaman. To make room for Kelly on the 40-man roster, INF Blaine Crim has been designated for assignment.

The trade deadline has passed. We'll see whether the Braves made a trade that hasn't come out yet or if they stood still.

I understand if an Ozuna trade doesn't come together in the next hour with the injury and everything. However, if he is not traded then he cannot still be getting regular DH reps the remainder of the season over starting both Baldwin and Murphy.
