Scoring two in the bottom of the 8th, the Rapids came back to defeat Dansville 6-5. Troy Chamberlin (3-4, R, RBI), Eli Huebner (2-4, R, RBI), Rene Vega III (2-4, R, RBI) and Zachary Gibson (2-4) led the way. Lucas Alexander and Seth Cooper closed the game out again for Genesee.

The Rapids scored 5 in the top of the 9th to take Game 1 over Dansville 10-9. Offensively, Braeden Dyck (2-4, HR, 2 R, 4 RBI), Gage Wheaton (2-2, HR, 2B, 4 R, RBI), and Eli Huebner (2-4, 2B, 3B, R, 3 RBI). Lucas Alexander got the win and Seth Cooper the save.

Congratulations to the 2025 Rapids on capturing the NYCBL Western Division Regular Season Championship with their 13-5 win over the Horseheads Hitmen last night. This is the first regular season championship in the Rapids' 11 year history. The Rapids begin the playoffs July 26.

The Rapids' bats exploded for 17 hits in a 13-5 win over the Horseheads Hitmen. Diego Cancel Otero (4-4, 2B, 3B and 4 RBI), Eli Huebner (3-4, HR, 3 R, and 2 RBI), and Gage Wheaton (3 2B and 3 R) led the way. On the mound, Max Wagar picked up the win (6 IP, 2 R ,4 H and 9 K).

Last night, the Olean Oilers limited the Rapids' bats to 6 hits and picked up a 7-2 win over Genesee. Gage Wheaton went 2 for 3 with a run scored, while Eli Huebner and Lochlan Stoudt each had an RBI. Starter Jude Balser gave up 2 R on 6 H striking out 2 in 4.1 IP.

The NYCBL West All-Star team fell to the East yesterday 6-1. Braeden Dyck and Eli Huebner each had a hit. Dyck also had a SB. Blake Bowman gave up 0 runs on only 1 hit. Coach Crane and the rest of the coaching staff did an excellent job leading the Western Division All-Stars.

⭐️MEET THE WEST ALL-STARS⭐️ The NYCBL has officially announced the 2025 All-Star Team rosters ahead of the highly anticipated All-Star Game, set to take place on Monday, July 14th at 4pm the Onondaga Baseball Complex in Syracuse, NY, hosted by the Syracuse Salt Cats.

Down 3 in their last at-bat, the Rapids made a valiant comeback, but lost 7-6 to Horseheads last night. Jerry Guzman (3-5, 2B, 3 RBI), Braeden Dyck (3-4, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Eli Huebner (2-4, RBI) had multi-hit nights. He Zheng (2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 K) was strong in relief.

Gage Wheaton tripled to lead off the bottom of the 6th, and Eli Huebner knocked him in to give the Rapids a 1-0 win over Dansville. Blake Bowman (7 IP, 7 H, 0 R, 6 K) improved to 3-1 this summer. Seth Cooper (2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 K) earned NYCBL league leading save number 5.
