Joes season ends in an 8-6 defeat with the comeback in the late innings ultimately falling short. Too many names to shoutout here but I am so thankful for everyone I met this summer, the connections I made and the experience I had, it was truly special!.

how can i for get EMMMETT JOHNSON. looks like he has some real juice out there but i do worry about RB depth if he goes down because we clearly are a step down after him.

- DL needs to improve. not much pass rush, run defense was brutal. i’m not going to overreact and say we’re terrible this early in the year…but a lot to work on there. good flashes from Nwaneri though . - OL/WR are drastically improved and it made Dylan’s life so much easier.

After sleeping on it:. - Made a play. haven’t watched Rhule’s presser but yet but i guarantee you he said the same thing too because it’s what we’ve been missing for so long at the end of these games. - Donnie Jones was killer at CB and our secondary is pretty awesome.

Thoughts:. - Nwaneri 1 is certainly a surprise but a very good one that he’s ready to play right away.- Pritchett number 5 in the T room overall ?!?!.- Lateef as QB2 is a pleasant surprise .- LB room is STACKED.- Kicker battle still in progress but i would imagine it’ll be Kyle.

All in all, this is my number one team in the country. they have small questions sure, but who doesn’t in this era of college football? i think the defense and run game could be the best in CFB, and with those receivers and Arch, passing game should be just fine.

i still love this group. Muhammad is an NFL guy at CB1, and while the other spot is in the air somewhat between Guilbeau, Black, & TRFR 5* Phillips, they’ll be great. also have Taafe back with McDonald at S & other talented young guys ready to step into bigger roles.

& the interior i think is super underrated with Watson (Cuse), Brevard (Purdue), & Shaw (UNC). LB- best LB room in CFB. Hill has unbelievable production, Spence (Arkansas) comes in with the returner Lefau as well. Truly a STACKED group. DB- could be a question but….

& while the guys that return were super highly touted, they’re young and inexperienced and there will be road bumps, especially with the injury to Cojoe. DEFENSE:.DL- should be a great group. EDGE room is unbelievable with Simmons, Moore, & Burke all returning….

himself as a 1R receiver and show he’s just as good as Coleman, Williams, etc. Moore also returns and TRFR 5* Kaliq Lockett will feature w RSFR Parker Livingstone who the staff loves. OL- now this is an actual question mark. they lose so much talent from last season….

RB- stacked room. Wisner returns & Baxter comes back from injury. I don’t think people realize how good Baxter truly is, 1R type RB when healthy. also have Jerrick Gibson returning as well. WR- while it is a question, i’m higher on this room than most. Wingo will cement….

OFFENSE:.QB- Arch Manning takes over as QB1 & will immediately provide a MASSIVE upgrade in the run game. now, while i’m not sure he’ll be one of the best passers in CFB, i do still think he’ll be an upgrade over what Ewers was for most of last year as well.

Last year was another step forward for Texas football. Getting to the SECCG in Y1 & making the F4 was amazing, & it came with plenty of flaws. Now the Arch phenomenon takes over as they look to finish the job. 2024 SP+: 7.Proj. 2025 SP+: 7. - offense: 28. - defense: 1.
