So, when someone mentions John Money and the case of David Reimer, please tell them to shut up and get their facts straight, and tell them that David Reimer is a prime case of how growing up the wrong gender can seriously fuck you up.

NOT, whether gender can be separate from biological sex. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION TO MAKE. In fact, in his case, growing up as a gender separate to his true identity is what many trans people feel growing up, forced to act a certain way.
