it was 2017 and i wanted a cool art instagram username so i wrote down words i connected with/thought were cool AND the handle was available. it has since been taken on EVERY SINGLE PLATFORM I’VE MADE AN ACCOUNT ON. EVEN MINECRAFT. such is the curse of electrovoid (one “i”).

fun facts:.- i was a barista at a local coffee shop and actually really loved it. i just thought the counter would be fun to draw.- i made a brush called “beans” to draw the espresso beans in the grinder in the mv.- i drew her leg on the wrong side of the door in this. oops.

simultaneously everyone should learn at least somewhat how to mix bc it will help you achieve your vision 🙏 .im often too hard on my past self. that mix wasn’t ass, it was just mid ❤️.

but this is also easier for me to be optimistic about when im not listening to something i mixed abysmally 8 years ago.

to an extent tho like sometimes there are songs i would like a lot more if they were mixed better or there’s something really glaring. but good ideas will shine thru. the rest will come in time. myself included.

this is true my songs were not mixed nor mastered for shit til like a year ago and nobody cared. hell even music i released recently isnt up to my current standards (aside from smoad. jamie ate that master up). but it's true people just want a song i think.

reason i ask is bc i used ibispaint to mask some glass reflections in a photo but realized it doesnt doesn’t support HDR so the brightest areas are all flat and white. i cant even show you here because twitter doesnt support hdr either LOL.

actual question for people who do photo stuff: is there a way to convert an HDR photo to normal SDR while keeping the same “look” to our eyes? obv it won’t be perfect bc hdr uses screen brightness but i want to preserve contrast in the brightest areas without it being blown out
