FATSSSA’s voter turnout took a hit this session! 📉 🔄 Last session: Onsite e-voting 💻 This session: Hybrid e-voting (mostly remote) Yet, turnout dropped from 73.01% to 55.87%! 🚨 What changed? Apathy? Less engagement? Different election conditions? 🧐 #UIElectpollAnalysis

FASSA’s election trends took an unexpected turn! 🔬 ✅ Turnout increased! (55.08% → 61.01%) ❌ But voter numbers dropped! 👥 Last session: 1,249 accredited voters 👥 This session: Only 454 voters Did fewer students care, or was accreditation stricter? 🤔 #UIElectpollAnalysis

We just uncovered the easiest way to win an election... 👀 ✅ Run unopposed. 📊 100% of unopposed candidates won their elections. No competition, no problem? Or is this a sign of declining political engagement? 🤔 #UIElectpollAnalysis

Kenneth Mellanby Hall elections were full of surprises! 🤯 🔄 More students voted in the by-election than in the main election... 📉 Yet, the by-election recorded the lowest turnout (48.63%)! What went wrong? Did accreditation issues play a role? 🧐 #UIElectpollAnalysis

The LSS election made us think competitiveness drives turnout, seems logical, right? Well, Botany students had other ideas. 🧠 📊 2nd highest turnout (77.95%) ⚔️ 0% competitiveness; every post was unopposed! Are Botany students just more involved? 🧐 #UIElectpollAnalysis

The Law Students' Society (LSS) made history! ⚖️ ✅ LSS first-ever successful e-voting election ✅ Highest turnout in Electpoll history: 90.73%! ✅ Most competitive election this session: 69.23%! These future lawyers sure know how to make their mark! 🔥 #UIElectpollAnalysis

Across 17 elections this session, we saw democracy in action! 📊 🗳️ 3,986 out of 5,914 accredited voters cast their votes. 🔥 The aspiring lawyers turned up like the future of democracy depended on them. 🔢 The Queen Hall ladies showed up in strong numbers! #UIElectpollAnalysis
