The gillnet fishers were curious to see what we did, so we ended up teaching them how to handle & release the fish safely back to the water. You go, Sir! 💪 #bycatch #release

Last week, we went along with gillnet fishers in Karimunjawa. There were 7 juveniles wedgefish caught! We used this opportunity to practice capture-mark-recapture method and quickly return them back to the water #EPI #RhinoraysProject
