We’re back like we’ve never left and in FULL test prep mode in 3rd grade…Ss reviewed strategies and representations to apply the Assoc. Prop of Multiplication…I love the crisp clean proof & representations…we’re going to take GMAS by storm! 🔥

EIP teachers don’t just remediate…we accelerate too! Ss compared decimal prices of different gas types at different gas stations familiar to their environment to the thousandths place value. I think they’ve got it! ⛽️🚗💨 @MsKnox_ #togetherwesoar

We ❤️ ROLE PLAY!🥼🩻🩺.Even as an EIP teacher we PUSH IN w/ real world connections! Ss potrayed pharmacists today as they filled patient prescriptions of fractions w/ 10 & 100 in the denominator, converted to decimals & filled “pills” (jelly beans) to decimal markers. @MsKnox_

Math time! Ss simulated a dining experience N our classroom version of @CrackerBarrel. I used the same activity for both 3rd&4th grade math (modified menus 4th) . Both groups solved multi step problems for multiplication & division (w/ remainder 4th). @MsKnox_ @GullattES1
