All these factors are drivers of building trust & confidence which ultimately play into a potential customer’s likelihood of switching to a new product like @CarbonCreditXyz

What if: * there were entry points for diff types of users (buyers vs. sellers, people w/ wallets & those without) * it expressed why someone would use CC vs. other marketplaces vs. web2 vs. specific token ecosystems? * what impacts to-date it's had as a product?

What I wish about @CarbonCreditXyz (2/2): * differentiation vs. other product types or competitors was laid out * why blockchain is an important use case here vs. web2 * there was a signup link on the landing page somewhere to pull the potential customer in

What I wish about @CarbonCreditXyz (1/2): * what the partnerships actually are & how each impacts CC * track record & history of leadership team were more clear * capabilities links led to details + comparisons * expressed significance of the offerings were clear

What I liked about @CarbonCreditXyz: * strong partnership network to help build trust * leadership team is in the open * capabilities are laid out (sort of) * the beginnings of filterable investment opportunities aligned to climate impact (values alignment)

Web3 product teams have chosen the DIY experience architecture & while that may suffice for some for now, that’s not how market adoption will flow. The mantra of we’ll get to the ux/user thing later may never arrive for some.

Unravel the guts of your product or service slowly, starting with the basics: * 1/ what is it * 2/ why does it matter * 3/ why does it matter to me * 4/ why now * 5/ how does it work & where do i start Learning is an ongoing discipline of doing.

Getting someone’s attention by sharing your narrative is a slow unraveling. Once you capture someone’s attention, they will ask for more, and then you deliver more. The unraveling continues.

In the feature-focused web3 world, it’s easy to want to differentiate yourself from the competition by laying all your cards down onto 1 page. I would disagree, and here’s why:

Today I reviewed @CarbonCreditXyz C.C. is a "connector" to collections of carbon related credit marketplaces & direct-to-project developers abating carbon emissions through renewable power generation, essentially behaving like a meta marketplace, & cross chain.
