Society tells us to formulate plans to increase chances of success. We’ve all heard of the 5 year plan. Society doesn’t tell us to include God in our plans. Giving our plans to God first is the way to be able to trust the road. Often our plans, w/o God, lead to undesired ends.

We don’t have to be weighed down by guilt over the sins we’ve committed. Guilt makes us justify, ignore, or dwell in our sins. It keeps us from God, because we feel not worthy to come to him. God wants us to understand he already forgave us for our sins, we only have to ask

A common asked question is why do people with bad intentions, or evildoers, prosper in this world. Why would God allow that. Eventually evildoers do get caught. Most of us are evildoers at some point. Some of us turn to God for help when it catches up. Some continue down the path

Being honest isn’t always easy. We need to challenge ourselves to have the courage to be truthful. We can take solace that God delights in us when we do.

We all make mistakes. Some mistakes are major. God expects this. What’s important is that we convict ourselves of these mistakes, confess them to God, ask for his forgiveness, and repent. Don’t let them fester without correction.

When we are in extremely challenging times, and things look bleak, it can be a challenge for many to trust in God. I just came out of one of those periods. My trust in God made me hopeful. But, it still isn’t easy. This period brought me closer to God.

We need to be fair in our dealings with others. Many people take advantage of those not as experienced as them. We may get away with it in the moment, but this practice will certainly catch up with people whom participate in this behavior.

God’s children, on this planet, is made up of a multitude of different type of people. When we seek to connect with others we have to meet people where they are, & be welcoming to people from all walks of life. Not just in our comfort zone. This will help us share God’s news.

St. Francis was a wild guy in his younger years. After time spent as a prisoner of war, he became a Christian. I suspect he felt God got him through that experience and answered his prayers. God wants us to come to him, as we are, in those most challenging times

Let God, and others, know what he means to us. Share the times God answered our prayers. Earlier this week I posted that God was there for me in the most major way. I was in awe of how obvious it was that he was with me. We should be passionate about our relationship with him.

When we have a relationship with God, we should act in a way that is honest with God, and also with men. . The world teaches it’s ok to take advantage of others in a business deal. We should strive to have our dealings be beyond reproach. Especially, all dealings with money

This scripture illustrates that God is with us in challenging times. We may feel the chance of having a favorable outcome, and being delivered from a bad situation, is impossible. Pray to God, and have faith. I know from experience God is with us in these moments.

When we face our most challenging times, and don’t see any solution, God is present and ready to help if we call upon him. Pray to him, ask him to deliver you from the situation, then have faith it was done the moment you prayed to him.

God answer a prayer for me today, that literally brought me back from the abyss. It was something that would otherwise be impossible. God let me know it was done by him in answer to my prayers. I was overcome with emotion, quite honestly.

This scripture is great news. God brings us back from the disasters we create for ourselves. Our sinful nature leads us to some challenging situations. Most times only God can help us out of them. If we turn to him he will deliver us. He wants us to turn to him in these times.

The Psalmist in this scripture asks God to deliver him from the challenging situation he’s in. In return he promises to go immediately to his temple to worship God. We tend to make promises to God if he helps us. We don’t always keep them for long, but God is there to help us.

This scripture teaches us that while we have a responsibility to share God’s word, and his good news of salvation, we aren’t responsible for how people we share with receives it. That is between them and God. Share freely, without this burden of expectation.

Another scripture that tells us to be wary of being a gossiper. This is something God takes seriously, and warns us about throughout scripture. Hold people’s business in confidence. We need to be diligent about this.

We can all be an instrument of evil. We can also be an instrument for God to work through us. I think most accept how common it is for us to be a tool for evil in this world. But, we don’t deem ourselves worthy of being used by God. God uses all who have a relationship with him.
