Well we finished last night and ran around today finishing up some sloughs and few spots left. 100% done #harvest2025 and we couldn’t do it without our extra help and @TrochuMotors who keeps us up and going everyday. Huge thanks to them. Also @Geringhoff makes it easy!

Thanks to @Bayer and @RPCropWatch for lunch and us finishing off Bayer’s plots. Was a fun day.

We finished all the cereals Sunday night and now just waiting for canola. Lots to do in the mean time. Wife also brought Ryan out for a combine ride, I think he will make a good operator. #geringhoff @TrochuMotors Wayne for the massey onesie Ryan’s wearing.

It was a Great Day @PioneerSeedsCA !!!! Getting out and seeing some of our business partners and dropping off a treat bag. Farmers are in full gear here in Central Alberta harvesting and we couldn’t be more proud of them!! Thank a farmer,,,,that’s who feeds you, not the grocery

Finished the peas the other day, was doing some full flexing with the hoff #geringhoff the best header on the market. Cleaned the ideal to go back into some more barley. And as the harvest crew continued I went seeding to put some fall rye in from #didsburyseeds.

Day 5 of #harvest25 350 acres of malt barley done and in the bin and funny how some barley was ready before our peas but on our peas now! Slow going but doing a nice job. #geringhoff #masseyideal

As I’m servicing trucks over the winter, sometimes I get time to do a lazy man polish. Not picky at all, but alittle maintenance on the chrome keeps them looking nice.

Well with this nice fall weather we are trying something new, I’ve been told it’s called an Agro Plow, fracturing down about 12 inches and putting a cocktail of stuff down in the ground along with nozzles that spray on top, just a rental unit from RAwest in Vulcan.

Well that is a wrap on #Harvest24 for Meadow Lea Farms, Dad ran the combine for the last few days and we ended harvest with the Faba Beans. Want to thank our harvest help, the wifes for harvest meals and to @TrochuMotors and @Geringhoff for keeping us going this harvest.

Moving some dried and cooled malt barley into some hoppers as it’s going out next week to @rahr_malt had 7/10 of rain so have time to do some shuffling around.
