I love California Author of "The Abundance Choice - Our Fight for More Water" https://t.co/cOenUj0I72

With all the hoopla these days over "abundance," here's my book, published in June 2022, "The Abundance Choice." It remains a useful resource for anyone serious about restoring affordable abundance. The focus is water. The message is everything. https://t.co/mBu7rrg9fM

Affordability cannot be delivered by a party that thinks subsidized infill and rent control will lower the price of shelter, or that destroying the oil and gas industry will lower the price of energy. https://t.co/cgHc79OcyD

In the wake of devastating setbacks in the 2024 elections, Democrats are deemphasizing identity politics and are instead prioritizing economic issues. Democrats are now embracing an “abundance…

California's oil industry is on the brink of collapse and belated efforts so far by the state legislature to save it are inadequate. https://t.co/qS9tloLWxM

It's amazing that anyone can be unaware of the blatant and unremitting censorship that was applied to right-of-center voices ever since 2016. Here is one collection of examples. The evidence is unequivocal. https://t.co/sa4b9bPVGV

Evidence that the modern era of censorship was alive and well starting in 2016, and NOT 2024, can be found starting at 33:00 in this excerpt from live radio. The article that generated this appearance was on American Greatness earlier this week: https://t.co/sa4b9bPVGV

Despite press releases, California's legislators have not fixed the looming gasoline crisis. More drilling in Kern County won't help elsewhere, there isn't enough oil to keep pipelines up, refineries are still shutting down, and investors are staying out. https://t.co/JTmrytsvmS

This video focuses on Prop 50, a retaliatory scheme designed to restore a long-standing national Democrat advantage in gerrymandering. But it is also an excellent summary of how horrific governance has destroyed opportunities for most Californians. https://t.co/5MEigmyqZO

This video explains how difficult it will be to replace diesel fuel and diesel engines. If energy policy is of interest to you, this is a must watch. https://t.co/6Qpe9zIinq

You don't have to be Republican to see the hypocrisy. In 2024, 58% of Californians voted for Harris, while Democrats control 83% of the state’s seats in Congress. That’s a 25% difference. Prop 50 redistricting aims to move that to 92%. Texas isn't even close, and won't be.

We were among the first to call for Abundance over Scarcity, and we remain the ones with solutions that will work - competition to supply MORE of every essential. I hate to get ideological, but that's a right-of-center concept! https://t.co/gnxeq76vuL

If TX redistricting pays off for GOP, their congressional caucus will overrepresent GOP members by 25%, equal to what CA's overrepresentation of Democrats is TODAY. Newsom's redistricting doesn't "level" anything. It restores imbalance favoring Democrats. https://t.co/i1Fwg73HeV

People who want more water supply in California must unite. Responsible designs for reservoir expansion and desalination should have proponents of each supporting each other. My segment on AgNet News Hour starts at around 9:20: https://t.co/l4NPeU80Wn

Building new water supply infrastructure to supply an additional 10 million acre feet per year would cost about $100 billion. Even if the federal government paid for all of it, awarding $10 billion per year for ten years would consume about 0.14 percent of the budget. Not much,

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever read: "The State Water Resources Control Board has allocated $2 billion in the past fiscal year to enhance water infrastructure... projects are set to benefit over 18 million Californians by adding 5,000 acre-feet to the state's water

Like @ChrisMartz, I have limited my focus. For me, it's energy, water, and infrastructure; I usually even avoid climate change. Other issues are not my priority topics. But I agree with everything Martz writes. And like Charlie Kirk, he has arisen to speak truth to delusion.
Alright. I have had a few days to gather my thoughts on the events that unfolded last week and do so in a calm and collected manner that isn't emotionally charged or retaliatory. I am a meteorologist who almost always comments on climate, energy and energy policy; I am not

A "Progressive Abundance Agenda" is an oxymoron. And for all the progressives who have jumped onto the Abundance bandwagon, here's what I had to say about it back in 2009. This essay was taken down but can be found on the Wayback Machine: https://t.co/rpP1ISWyCy The Abundance

If the people running California today were in charge in the 1950s and 1960s, the California Water Project would never have been built. The Sites Reservoir, approved by voters in 2014, could have been built by now. https://t.co/jWHvcxg9ad

The reason progressives dominate unions, especially in the public sector, is that progressives want big government. And having a bigger government is consistent with the natural motivation of any organization, which is to grow and prosper. When there are more regulations and

Dredging the delta was done for a century, and fish populations thrived. Then we stopped in the 1970s. Here are reasons why we should bring it back. https://t.co/ZCHwqtwpwn
