Respite in the city. A twilight walk with sounds of birds settling down on trees and water at #edgbastonreservoir. Despite requirements to protect this #LNR, Developers set sights to illuminate the #reservoir at night with a proposed waterside development on the opposite side.

A magical team evening for project Nightjar saw us catch 7 new Nightjars, with 4 Juvenilles, 2 males and 1 female. Our birds will be migrating soon, but there were still over 25 seen this night with thermal cameras. #nightjar #wildlife

If we lose our canals, we lose more than you might think. We lose bees, water voles, kingfishers, and one of nature’s last refuges. We’re working every day to protect them. Will you help? 💙 Donate here: https://t.co/OcuvO9Xxcw
