I was a casual viewer and fan of “Homicide: Life on the Street” when it was on the air in the 90s. Binging the last couple of weeks, it’s easily among the greatest TV productions of all time.

There are hit streaks and home run records, there have been extra-inning and Game 7 playoff heroics, all iconic and indelible. But there’s nothing to compare to what Shohei Ohtani did last night. Nothing.

HBD, Power Windows. A formative album in my musical development. And an all-time great.
