Since Earth Day, 2022, we’ve raised $1,343 for climate justice solutions through the sale of literary chapbooks by our imprint, @riverglassbooks. This was made possible by offsetting expenses with proceeds from our Global Learning programs. This is only the beginning. 🌎🌱📚

Ecuador is again making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The start of 2024 has seen many sad developments. There have also been incredible reasons for hope in the past year. Read my report published by @ecostudiofound. https://t.co/v7BIPEFWGs

El #Yasuní es el hogar de los Tagaeri, Taromenane y Dukagaeri, pueblos indígenas en aislamiento voluntario, pero el Estado ecuatoriano y las petroleras están destruyendo su territorio ancestral. Hoy #Ecuador vota #SiAlYasuni. #SiAlaVida #EleccionesAnticipadas2023Ec

Today, Ecuadorians vote in a consequential election that could decide not only the next president but also the future of oil extraction in Yasuní—one of the most biodiverse places on earth. A referendum against mining in the Chocó is also on the ballot in Quito. #SiAlYasuní

The longer decisions to save the planet are delayed, the greater the disasters that are currently occurring. There is everything in the world to replace the use of oil, except political will. Today I would just like to remind you that there is no future in Oil. #JustStopOil
