@EricLDaugh Josh Stein literally co-chaired the "Task Force for Racial Equity in Criminal Justice" which recommended: a) "...reducing reliance on cash bail" b) "encouraging written-promise releases for non-violent misdemeanors..." These are the people in power in North Carolina today.
