Fun fact: the hardest part was reverse engineering how to turn a `FGeometryCollection` into a static mesh with custom UVs. It was really fun to figure out the inner workings of chaos fracture tools. More FAQs and implementation details in the README:

Using it is pretty simple: Right click and process a CHAOS destructible Geometry Collection into a Niagara Destructible Actor BP you can drop into your level:

Under the hood the plugin uses a niagara system to simulate the physics of the fragments (bones) on the GPU, write their transforms to render targets, and finally a vertex #shader to constrain the vertices of a specific fragment to its respective bone using the render targets.

Why should you use this instead of CHAOS? It's useful for creating cosmetic destructible props that are highly interactive but still very performant since they run on the GPU compared to CHAOS which runs on the CPU.

Duelyst is now open source under a CC0 license. Code, art, assets, no strings attached. Really happy we were able to make this happen. Hope a team of fans make a rogue lite mode :).
