Earlier, @MPSLadyMargaret shared details of the sentencing of Astrit Mala who was convicted of assaulting & racially abusing two officers. His sentence of 26 weeks in prison was suspended for two years. The following is a short statement on that outcome:
A male who threw scalding water at officers has pled guilty to assault on an emergency worker x 2 and a racially aggravated public order offence. He was sentenced to 26 weeks imprisonment suspended for 2 years, with £350 and £150 compensation for the officers involved.

PC’s Self, Dahir and SC Cook were on burglary patrols in the #Acton area when a pursuit was initiated. After a foot chase the driver threw a loaded firearm before arrest + was wanted on drug charges, the car was stolen and was drug driving. Passenger also arrested + remanded.

(1/2) We were called at 10:39hrs on 14 Jan to a report of a dog out of control having killed another dog in Queens Ave, Greenford. Officers attended and took the decision to destroy the dog at the scene in order to prevent it from causing further serious harm. .
