Our senior debating team recently participated in the opening round of the Premier's Debating Challenge against Robert Townson. Students worked together to construct an argument and had the opportunity to demonstrate their sharp public speaking skills.

In History, the Energy Class were learning about Ancient Egypt. They experienced a variety of fun learning activities such as 'mummifying their friends using toilet paper (This would have not been possible last year due to the toilet paper crisis).

The Energy Class investigated the "Transformation of Energy" and enjoyed hands-on experiment in class. They completed a simple circuit using aluminium foil to demonstrate these concepts.

We had a surprise visitor on Tuesday, former EVHS principal Cole South. Mr South, who was principal of Eagle Vale High School from 1988 to 1997, donated a copy of James Cook by Peter Fitzsimons to the school.

Year 10 Visual Art students created skateboards inspired by street artist Mulga. After working with Sydney based artist Joel Moore (Mulga) in Term 1 to create a mural at EVHS, Year 9 and Year 10 students designed their own street art inspired skateboards.
