It just took me 1.5 hours to get to work. Only gonna get worse come January once @Amazon 5 days starts. At least with 3 days, people can spread out some of the load - the Monday run yesterday was only 0.5 hour!

I wish I could do my current role from Australia but there's no way they would make it happen given they are getting so many staff to move back to Seattle after the pandemic.

We had plans to move back to Brisbane to be closer to our family, especially important after my wife's heart failure. They have been thwarted by a lack of available engineering roles in the Amazon office there. 😞

Second time catching it a(at least symptomatic). Both times have been during time off with my parents
