Don't see the outrage on Anthony Joshua's part. He's a professional fighter - who has been offered £70million for a joke fight. I challenge any boxer to turn that money down. Legacy? Cash fights for Ali at the tail of his career hasn't stopped his legacy?

The Portuguese FA are appealing to FIFA not to hit Cristiano Ronaldo with three game ban for violent conduct. Chief argument: a) it was a noisy atmosphere, and b) go easy because he is Ronaldo If Fifa reduce ban it will bring whole discipline system into into disrepute. Two-tier

If it really is a professional fight, then Joshua would sit Paul down within 30 seconds. We've reached peak stupidity with this fight, to such an extent while wishing no harm, I hope Paul gets folded within ten secs so we end this farce trend right now

The only thing I’m worried about in Tuchel’s two players for a system approach is Eze. My feeling is he’s the one player like no other player we have, a maverick who plays on instinct and feeling. He has to have a place in the England squad

Astonishing discussion on Newsnight. Picking apart the worrying lack of leadership in the country

That’s brilliant from Trossard. His form this season has been superb

Lovely to see Conor Bradley produce like that tonight. He’s not had the best of starts to the season, but this display can set him up now to kick on. Clearly a bright talent

Micky Van de Ven was offered to Man Utd for £3m before he joined Wolfsburg. United didn’t rate him.

How is that handball? Shot rifled at him from five yards away, arm in a very natural position. You’d be bloody annoyed if that is given against you

For the first time this season Sunderland look a team newly promoted from the Chanpionship

West Ham delivered a performance of resolute commitment and character when it mattered most. Allowed some quality to shine through at times. The kind of win and performance to build from.

At least Andy Windsor can now freely book a 7pm slot at Pizza Express without scrutiny

In fairness to the defence, which has been worryingly bad, they are not exactly getting any favours from the midfield protecting them

Wtf did they even need to get the lines out for? And how can the automated offside not been working for a second successive game??

You’d have to work hard to perform worse than they did against Brentford. West Ham giving it a right go tonight though

Interesting to see our right footed left back spurn the opportunity to run the defence on the outside to cut back onto his right foot. Who could have predicted that

I hope Nuno proves me wrong here. But that looks a disjointed lineup on first impression

You'd have thought a squad that cost over half a billion to assemble might just be able to deal with a few long balls Slot could always change his tactics to deal with the threat. If not, stop moaning about it
