Success occurs only when you out last your adversities!

I hated reading as a kid. I use to see words that weren’t even on the page and it made me feel dumb when I read out loud. I went into college reading on a 7th grade level. Not wanting to be embarrassed, I spent nights teaching myself how to read better. Now, reading is a hobby‼️

Message for my Millennials: I gave up! Injury after injury weakened my Will Power. I made excuses for why I stopped playing football. My why wasn’t strong enough. Fast Fwd to today, knowing that I’ll be Becoming a Dad soon made me Believe in Myself Again‼️ #findyourWHY

Message for my Millennials: when I realized that my relationship with pain became estranged after playing football, I changed the way that we communicated daily. Translation: I talk to my pain. I let it know it won’t break me‼️ I now look at pain as an opportunity to GROW‼️

Message for my Millennials: “would you rather be at PEACE with the world and at WAR with yourself? Or at WAR with the world and at PEACE with yourself?” Best to be yourself. They’ll judge you regardless‼️ Before you dim your light because of their shade remember to put YOU 1st

When you help someone it’s not always for them. There’s this concept called “Pay it Forward.” My mentor, MaQuan Dawkins, helped me and now I’ve been able to help so many who was like me when I sought his guidance.

The hardest thing to accept is that you can’t help everybody!
