Being in Usk today, historic town in Monmouthshire, Wales on the River Usk. Known for its 12th-century castle ruins, Roman heritage, and picturesque scenery, it boasts award-winning floral displays and a peaceful rural atmosphere. Usk is also home to ancient churches and 👌 walks

Now as I waved goodbye on Saturday to my 20 swallows they arrived back today at first I thought maybe an Air B&B somewhere for 2 days; or maybe the high winds in the UK; but then I read that adults will take younger birds on long practice flights and to learn how to catch food 👏

Nearly 4 months of the swallows and they all went early this morning I’m assuming to a warmer climate - a good year 3 pairs this year and 16 between them,. This one is left probably too early out of the nest and one adult bird remained behind so cute and such good parenthood

Now I don’t often post pictures of flowers but this agapanthus has given me so much joy over the last few weeks an Agapanthus. Its name is derived from Ancient Greek agape meaning love and anthos as flower…so there you go !

Well deserved procession for tuesday through London for #Lionesses and now agreed double amount of time women and girls get allocated at Government funded sports facilities and a task force to focus on grass roots football ⚽️- long overdue but standards of ⚽️ is incredible now👏
